We are looking to appoint an Early Years Teacher at Bentley High Street Primary School. The role involves delivering play‑based learning in a warm, vibrant environment where children feel safe and encouraged to explore, take risks and learn. You will create a supportive environment that nurtures both pupils and colleagues, working within the Exceed Learning Partnership Trust.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver EYFS curriculum and manage the learning needs of children in early years.
  • Plan, organise and assess play‑based learning activities.
  • Foster a safe, happy and enabling environment for all children.
  • Collaborate with parents, colleagues and the wider community to support children’s development.
  • Contribute to professional development and maintain high teaching standards as part of the trust.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Qualified to teach in the UK (e.g., QTS, Early Years Certificate, or equivalent).
  • Experience working with young children and delivering EYFS lessons.
  • Child protection screening appropriate to the role (enhanced DBS, Children’s Barred List Check).
  • Commitment to safeguarding and a good understanding of child protection principles.
