The City of Doncaster Council is a confident, ambitious organisation which puts improving the life of its residents at the centre of everything we do. You have an opportunity to be part of this in the role of Senior Street Cleansing Technician.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our Street Scene team. Although experience in Street Cleansing or Waste Management is a benefit it is not essential for the role of Senior Street Cleansing Technician. We need someone with a positive attitude who works well in a team and is committed to delivering an excellent service every day. Although it isn’t essential if you have an HGV licence it would be advantageous for this role.
We will provide training to allow you to use a variety of maintenance machinery to deliver works including litter removal, bin emptying, fly tip clearance, road sweeping and weed removal works. The role works directly in the community on sites across Doncaster, giving you the chance to see the difference Street Scene makes to people living in Doncaster.
