The City of Doncaster Council is a confident, ambitious organisation which puts improving the life of its residents at the centre of everything we do. We are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Business Support Officer to deliver high-quality, professional business support to Children’s Social Care locality teams within the Children, Young People and Families Directorate.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Lead, manage, support, train, and coach teams of Business Support Officers
- Promote ownership and adoption of innovative ways of working
- Provide data reports and key performance information for the service
- Continually review and develop processes to enhance service provision including opportunities for digitisation and use of AI
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following attributes and experience:
- Experience of supporting a range of teams within a busy service environment
- Ability to provide efficient business support across locality working, Help and Protection, PAFSS, Assessment, and Children with Disabilities services
- Champion high quality customer service both internally and externally
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment demonstrating strong resilient skills
- Ability to champion and maintain a positive working environment that is professional, collaborative, and supportive
The ideal candidate will need to travel to multiple locality sites as required by the needs of the position.
