Role Summary

We are seeking to appoint a Nursery teacher to work at this popular and successful, large infant school. The successful candidate will join a committed, hard working and friendly team, teaching well-motivated children whose behaviour is outstanding.

Responsibilities

  • Teach children in a nursery environment
  • Plan and deliver EYFS curriculum
  • Maintain high expectations
  • Work in partnership with pupils, staff, parents, and community
  • Manage behaviour
  • Support pupils’ welfare
  • Plan assessment
  • Provide professional development support

Qualifications & Experience

  • A strong commitment to working in partnership with pupils, staff, parents, and the community
  • Excellent classroom skills and high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
  • Detailed knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Energy, enthusiasm and a sense of humour
  • Some experience of working in a nursery environment
