Responsibilities
- Be an excellent support to the class teacher and pupils
- Support fully our Catholic ethos, vision and values
- Demonstrate a passion for learning and be a practitioner that others can be inspired by
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents and other stakeholders
- Be patient and understanding with pupils with SEND
- Be professional at all times and willing to undertake training
- Prepared to be hardworking, patient and flexible
- Be committed to training opportunities to support the child
- Be willing to support changing, medical or other personal hygiene
- Have relevant experience in supporting learning for pupils
- Work with the SENDCO and Inclusion manager in supporting individual pupils identified with an EHC Plan
- Be able to work with individual pupils on set targets
