Your role Educational Psychologists working for Doncaster Educational Psychology Service support the psychological and educational development and well‑being of children and young people aged 0‑25 with SEND.
Core duties include:
- Consultation, assessment, advice, training, research and whole‑school development.
- Collaboration with schools, pre‑school providers, health and care agencies and other specialist services such as Autism, CAMHS, visual and hearing impairment teams and the Special Educational Needs team.
- Developing and leading innovative, preventative and early intervention initiatives.
- Providing peer supervision, CPD and participating in local and regional meetings.
Qualifications:
- Post‑graduate training in educational psychology or equivalent.
- HCPC registration.
- Sound knowledge of research and practice relevant to children and young people’s development.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Creative, flexible, reflective practice and a commitment to professional development.
