Role: Ambition Coach – a dual‑role position with two posts: Job Matching Function and Personalised Support Function.

Ambition Coach (Job Matching Function)

You will serve as key liaison between personalised support and employer engagement to shape and deliver a robust job‑matching service. You will work closely with other Ambition Coaches to identify and support job‑ready clients, and with the employer engagement team to identify and shape relevant job opportunities that align with client needs, skills and ambitions. You will contribute to operational plans to provide work‑ready support to existing and new individuals and drive sector engagement and employment support to local employers.

Key focus: Inclusive employment, helping people, driving positive change.

Ambition Coach (Personalised Support Function)

This role delivers personalised employment support under Pathways to Work. You will work collaboratively with commissioned services and partners to provide inclusive and sustainable employment pathways. Operating within the internationally recognised Individual Placement and Support framework, you will offer holistic, targeted assistance to clients such as those with substance misuse, experience of care, caring responsibilities, refugee and veteran status. Through wrap‑around services you will help clients progress toward work and achieve long‑term positive employment outcomes, promoting confidence, wellbeing, independence and opportunity.
