The Directors of Exceed Learning Partnership and the Governors of Rosedale Primary School are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support our teachers in delivering high-quality instruction and enhancing the learning experience for our pupils. The role includes providing specific 1-1 support for identified pupils.

Location: Rosedale Primary School – Doncaster.

The role involves supporting teachers in lesson planning, providing targeted 1-1 assistance to pupils, and maintaining a supportive and engaging learning environment. You will work closely with the Principal and Leadership Team to contribute to the school’s overall success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting teachers with classroom management and instructional support.
  • Delivering individualized learning plans and interventions for pupils identified for extra help.
  • Monitoring pupil progress and collaborating with colleagues to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Supporting pastoral care activities and fostering a positive climate for all children.

Qualifications and attributes expected:

  • Reliable, motivated, patient and adaptable with a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection; candidates will undergo enhanced DBS checks, a Children’s Barred List check, and a self-disclosure of criminal convictions if shortlisted.
  • Appropriate experience or training in teaching support or early years education is desirable but not mandatory.
