Overview

We’re looking for a Junior Fire & Security Installer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build a proper career in the fire and security industry — learning from experienced engineers and working on real installations, not just carrying tools.

Responsibilities

  • Working alongside senior engineers, you’ll assist with the installation and maintenance of:
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Emergency lighting
  • CCTV systems
  • Intruder alarms
  • Access control & door entry systems
  • Electrical side of automated gates
  • Basic fault finding, testing & commissioning
  • Learning correct standards, paperwork and site etiquette

You’ll be trained properly, with the expectation that your responsibilities grow as your skills do.

What we’re looking for

  • A genuine interest in fire & security systems
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
  • Comfortable working on sites and in occupied buildings
  • Full UK driving licence (or working towards)
  • Good attitude — we can teach skills, not effort

We’re far more interested in the right mindset.

What we offer

  • Competitive starting salary (based on experience)
  • On-the-job training from qualified engineers
  • Clear progression into a senior installer role
  • Variety of work — domestic, commercial & industrial
  • Proper tools, van, support, and structured learning
  • Long-term role with a growing company
