Doncaster Alarms Ltd are looking to recruit a Fire & Security Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role would suit someone who is already confident carrying out installations across a range of fire and security systems, and who is looking to progress into deeper fault‑finding, servicing and commissioning with training and support from experienced engineers.

Role Overview

You will work as part of our engineering team, installing and supporting a range of systems including:

  • Fire alarm systems
  • Emergency lighting
  • CCTV systems
  • Intruder alarms
  • Access control and door entry systems
  • Automated gates

The role is primarily installation‑focused, however there will also be opportunities to develop into:

  • Testing and commissioning
  • Servicing and maintenance
  • Fault‑finding and diagnostics
  • Job documentation and handover

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • A full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience in the fire and security industry (installation or maintenance)
  • A professional and reliable approach when working in customer environments
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • CSCS / ECS, IPAF, and a current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
