Job Description

Further your career and take on a new challenge as a Functional Analyst!\\n\\nWe are now recruiting for hybrid working Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics to make the most of their existing clinical knowledge and take on a new role with a supportive, locally owned assessment provider.\\n\\nAs a Functional Assessor you will be providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government’s disability allowance (PIP) whilst ensuring a personalised, inclusive and empathetic service for the service user.\\n\\nBenefits Include:\\n\\n * Basic salary £44,000\\n\\n * + 10% Performance bonus\\n\\n * Hybrid, Approx 2-3 days in clinic per week\\n\\n * Full time\\n\\n * Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30-5pm (40 hours per week)\\n\\n * Training: Full time, 6 weeks’\\n\\n * 25 days Holidays per annum\\n\\n * Company Laptop and Mobile Phone provided\\n\\n * Employee network groups\\n\\n * Scottish Widows Pension\\n\\nYour New Role:\\n\\n * As a Functional Assessor, you will conduct 3-4 assessments per day including telephone/face to face assessment and report.\\n\\n * As a Functional Assessor, your cases and appointments will be spread throughout the day allowing you to have greater job autonomy to manage cases to conclusion.\\n\\n * You will assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive impairments.\\n\\n * You will have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence and team meetings.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\n * Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.\\n\\n * 1+ years post qualification experience.\\n\\n * Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.\\n\\n * Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy
