Further your career and take on a new challenge as a WCA Assessor! We are now recruiting for hybrid working Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics to make the most of their existing clinical knowledge and take on a new role with a supportive, locally owned assessment provider. As a WCA Assessor you will be providing unbiased, comprehensive Work Capability Assessments (WCA) whilst ensuring a personalised, inclusive and empathetic service for the service user.

Benefits Include:

  • Basic salary £39,500
  • + 10% Performance bonus
  • Hybrid, Approx 2-3 days in clinic per week
  • Full time
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9-5pm (37.5 hours per week)
  • Training: Full time, 6 weeks
  • 25 days Holidays per annum
  • Company Laptop and Mobile Phone provided

Your New Role:

  • As a WCA Assessor, you will conduct 5-6 assessments per day including telephone/face to face assessment and report writing.
  • Your cases and appointments will be spread throughout the day allowing you to have greater job autonomy to manage cases to conclusion.
  • You will assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive impairments.
  • You will have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence and team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.
  • 2+ years post qualification experience.
  • Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.
