As a Functional Specialist you will be providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Governments disability allowance (PIP) whilst ensuring a personalised, inclusive and empathetic service for the service user. As a multi-skilled Functional Specialist, you will have greater job variety and autonomy to manage cases to conclusion. You will assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive impairments. You will have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence and team meetings. Requirements Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic. 1+ years post qualification experience.
