Job Description

Take on a new challenge and further your career as a Clinical Assessor!This is an exciting hybrid working opportunity for Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics to make the most of their existing clinical knowledge and take on a new role with a leading, multi-national employer with Full time and Part time roles available.As a Clinical Assessor you will be providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Governments disability allowance (PIP) whilst ensuring a personalised, inclusive, safe and empathetic service for the service user.
Benefits Include:Basic salary of £38,500 – £41,500*+ 5% retention bonus+ rising to 10% quality & retention bonus*OTE: £45,650*Hybrid Full time, Part time working hours availableTraining options: 12 weeks (full time), 14 weeks (4 days per week) & 17 weeks (3 days per week)25 days Holidays per annum, rising to 27 days with serviceCompany Laptop and Mobile Phone providedAccess to Health & Wellbeing programme and Headspace mobile appAnnual charity dayEmployee network groupsCompany matched pensionLife assurance15 weeks paid maternityCycle2work scheme*OTE and Bonus scheme attainable once additional training is complete.Your New Role:As a multi-skilled Clinical Assessor you will manage caseloads from end to end which includes delivering face to face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls and paper based reports (PBR).As a multi-skilled Clinical Assessor, you will have greater job variety and autonomy to manage cases to conclusion.You will assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive impairments.You will have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence and team meetings.RequirementsQualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.1+ years post qualification experience.Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.
