What you will do

You will hold consultations (by phone, video or in person) with people applying for Work Capability Assessment (WCA) benefits. Your verbal communication skills will be just as important as your ability to write high-quality reports using a specialised IT system. You will also work with your manager to keep developing your skills and career as a Functional Assessor.

What you will need

  • At least 12 months experience as a registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
  • Full registration with one of these bodies: Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), or General Pharmaceutical Council (GPC)
