We’re looking for an enthusiastic Junior Service Engineer (or Apprentice) to join our Industrial Service Group. You’ll receive full training to become a key part of our team, helping to maintain and service dust collection, compressed air, and process filtration systems at customer sites, across the UK. This is a field-based role where travel is a core aspect, with possible trips also to Ireland and our head office in Leicester.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the installation, servicing, and maintenance of Donaldson filtration equipment
- Work closely with senior engineers to learn hands-on skills in mechanical and electrical systems
- Follow health and safety standards at all times
- Visit customer sites in a professional and safe manner
- Help identify opportunities for service upgrades, spare parts, and product improvements
- Complete basic service reports and documentation accurately
- Build strong relationships with customers and team members
Your Qualifications
- A passion for engineering, mechanics, or electrical work
- Some basic technical knowledge or hands-on experience (from school, training, or hobbies)
- A full, clean UK driving licence is essential, with a minimum of one year’s driving experience preferred
- Good IT and communication skills
- A responsible attitude with an awareness of health and safety
- Willingness to travel across your region and nationwide
- A positive, proactive mindset and a desire to learn and grow
