Role Responsibilities:- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers through regular visits and engagement.
- Identify and pursue new customer opportunities through proactive outreach and visits.
- Foster customer loyalty through ethical and value-driven visits.
- Discover and convert new business opportunities with distributors and end-users.
- Develop strategic partnerships with key accounts within the market.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of filtration and engine systems to effectively carry out the role.
- Clearly communicate and demonstrate Donaldson's value proposition to customers.
Location: Ideally Midlands based due to the proximity of customers
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales (and developing key strategic accounts)
- Experience of working with CRM system
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- A degree in business, commercial, or technical fields is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret and create reports.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Well-organized with excellent planning, time management, and self-administration skills.
- Able to prioritize tasks and perform under pressure.
- Customer-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
- Demonstrates a results-driven approach, with strong negotiation, persuasion, and influencing abilities.
- Open-minded and eager to learn, with the ability to acquire technical knowledge in filtration.
