We are seeking a creative and dynamic Marketing and Communications Manager to join our London studio to lead the implementation of our strategic plan. Sitting within the central business operations team, you will report to senior leadership and work in collaboration with Directors and Associates across the practice. You will own the annual marketing and communications plan, lead and manage a team of two Coordinators and collaborate with the Senior Business Development Manager and bids team to ensure consistent and high-quality output across all touchpoints. You will also be the main point of contact for our PR agency.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the marketing and communications team, ensuring consistent and high-quality content to suit our audience segments across multiple outputs such as our website, newsletters, social media, events, award submissions, photography and video.
- Manage the annual departmental budget.
- Work alongside our clients and our PR consultants to secure high-quality media coverage of practice projects.
- Spearhead the creation and production of thought leadership campaigns.
- Actively seek out speaking engagements for named leaders within the practice.
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistent application of DIAβs visual guidelines and Tone of Voice across multiple outputs.
- Support the board of directors in driving regular, clear internal communications to ensure colleagues across all studios are kept informed of practice developments.
- Regularly assess and report campaign effectiveness to leadership.
- Solid experience (3-5 years) in B2B marketing and/or communication roles, either agency or in-house.
- Strong writing, editing and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Writing concise briefs and evaluating the outputs of creative vendors across different disciplines.
- Confident liaison with senior stakeholders across the practice, tactfully managing competing priorities and expectations.
- Curiosity that keeps you abreast of latest marketing thinking, e.g. the evolution of GEO.
- Experience of working in a marketing and/or communications capacity within professional services, ideally in the built environment sector.
- A level of graphic design literacy to enable informed briefing and evaluation of graphic output.
- A demonstrable interest in architecture, design and the historic environment.
- Working knowledge of the Adobe software suite, particularly InDesign; CRM software; DAM systems such as OpenAsset.
