Overview

The purpose of this role is to maintain all plant and machinery to maximum efficiency levels while ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with Company Health and Safety procedures. Duties will include installation projects, preventative and reactive maintenance.

A key part of this role is dealing with breakdowns with efficiency to keep downtime of machinery to a minimum. This will include fabricating parts where necessary, carrying out bench-work as required, trouble-shoot faults, listing parts for re-order and identifying major breakdowns to shift leaders.

What we are looking for

  • Educated to HNC/C&G level
  • Time served Electrical engineer
  • Proven experience ideally in a manufacturing environment
