About the Role

Don-Bur Group are looking for a motivated 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join our internal IT team. This is a hands-on role providing front-line IT support to staff across multiple sites, resolving technical issues, supporting business systems, and helping to keep IT services running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st line IT support via phone, email and service desk
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Install and configure PCs, laptops and IT equipment
  • Support Microsoft 365, Windows and Active Directory environments
  • Troubleshoot network, Wi-Fi and printing issues
  • Log, manage and update support tickets
  • Work alongside the development team to test and support in-house software solutions

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a 1st Line IT Support role
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
  • Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing)
  • Active Directory user and device management
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with PCs, laptops and peripherals
  • A proactive, organised and professional approach

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: Mon-Thu 08:30-16:45 | Fri 08:30 - 15:30
