Role Description
The Residential Property Consultant (Assoc RICS / MRICS / FRICS) will provide professional advice and guidance to homebuyers and property owners across Greater London, Kent and Essex.
This is a full‑time, on‑site role that involves conducting residential inspections, preparing clear and concise RICS Level 1–3 survey reports and valuations, and supporting clients with post‑survey consultations.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include assessing property condition and value, identifying potential defects and maintenance issues, and explaining findings in an accessible, client‑focused manner.
The role also involves liaising with estate agents/vendors, managing instruction pipelines/dairy, and contributing to business development by maintaining strong client relationships and upholding Domus Surveying’s standards of accuracy and service.
Qualifications
- Strong consulting and advisory skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear, practical guidance for clients.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce concise written reports and engage confidently in client‑facing discussions.
- Proven customer service skills, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and responsiveness throughout the survey and post‑survey process.
