Are you a commercially driven Business Development Manager with a passion for care? Do you have the contacts, credibility and determination to unlock opportunities with private clients and healthcare professionals? We are looking for a proactive and highly motivated Business Development Manager who will treat the business as if it were their own and assist the domiciliary branch through its next phase of growth. This is a unique opportunity to join a small but successful company and play a pivotal role in growing their business and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a business development strategy focused on private client growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, discharge teams, community organisations and other private referral sources.
  • Generate new private domiciliary care and live-in care opportunities.
  • Develop strong networking relationships within the health and social care sector.
  • Identify new markets, partnerships and growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to support business expansion plans.
  • Promote the company’s values, services and brand within the local marketplace.
  • Track business development activity and report against agreed growth targets.
  • Contribute to marketing and brand awareness initiatives.
  • Support the development of long-term commercial strategies.

About you:

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager within domiciliary care.
  • Demonstrable success in winning new business and achieving growth targets.
  • Strong understanding of the private healthcare and domiciliary care market.
  • Existing network of contacts within healthcare, social care or community-based referral services.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Commercially minded with a strong understanding of business growth strategies.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to clearly demonstrate action plans, outlining how business will be won and developed.
  • Experience growing a start-up or scaling care services.
  • Brand development and marketing experience.
