Domus Recruitment are working with our client based in Bromley, Kent who are looking for a new RGN Deputy Manager. This is a 50-bedded nursing home for Older People. My client is a family run company that promotes an excellent culture and high quality of care.
Key Responsibilities of a RGN Deputy Manager
- Assist the Home Manager in managing daily operations of the nursing home.
- Lead and supervise care staff to ensure excellent resident care.
- Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Support staff training and professional development.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for residents.
- Manage medication administration processes efficiently.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of care services.
Requirements:
- Proven management experience within a nursing or care home setting.
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
- Knowledge of elderly care, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Relevant qualifications in health or social care (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
