Domus Recruitment are working with a growing elderly care provider who are looking for an experienced Quality, Compliance & Governance Manager to take the lead on quality, clinical governance and regulatory compliance across their portfolio of homes. This is a senior, hands-on role with real influence across the group. You’ll work closely with the Head of Operations, Home Managers and the wider senior leadership team, providing assurance around quality and compliance whilst helping services maintain and improve standards. We’re looking for someone who is clinically credible, confident dealing with CQC and comfortable operating across multiple services. Key responsibilities will include: • Acting as the group lead for CQC and regulatory matters • Leading clinical governance and quality improvement across the homes • Oversight of safeguarding, serious incidents, complaints and regulatory escalations • Supporting services to achieve and maintain Good and Outstanding CQC ratings • Reviewing quality and compliance trends across the group and reporting into senior leadership/Board • Leading annual compliance inspections and ensuring actions are followed through • Providing senior clinical leadership and setting standards across the nursing workforce • Working closely with Home Managers around quality, performance and KPIs • Supporting CQC registrations for new services and future acquisitions • Line management of the existing compliance support function The successful candidate will need: • Current Registered Nurse qualification and unrestricted NMC PIN • Strong experience within elderly/adult social care or nursing home environments • Multi-site quality, compliance or clinical governance experience • Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and Fundamental Standards • Experience managing serious safeguarding and regulatory matters • Strong clinical governance and quality improvement experience • Confidence working with Registered Managers, senior leadership and external regulators • Ability to travel regularly between services This would suit an experienced Quality Manager, Head of Quality, Clinical Quality Manager or senior operational/clinical leader looking for a role with genuine group-wide responsibility. The service span across the Essex/London region as well as the North West of England so some travel will be required. The organisation is continuing to develop and grow, so there is plenty of scope to make an impact and help shape quality and clinical standards across the group.
