Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a service in the absence of a Home Manager, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant operations.
  • Provide hands-on operational and clinical support to Home Managers across the region.
  • Drive excellence across the organisation’s three key pillars: People, Quality, and Performance.
  • Ensure full regulatory and legislative compliance across supported services.
  • Maintain and promote the highest standards of person-centred care.
  • Support performance improvement plans and stabilise services where required.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Travel across the North West region to provide flexible leadership support (overnight accommodation provided where required).

Requirements

Essential:

  • Proven experience within a nursing home setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive service improvements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and performance-driven approach.
  • Right to live and work in the UK.

Desirable:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a current NMC Pin.
  • Experience supporting multiple services or working in a regional/peripatetic capacity.
  • Strong track record of maintaining regulatory compliance and improving quality standards.
