I am seeking a Nursing Home Manager to manage a 50 bedded Nursing and Residential Home for the elderly. The home is rated Requires Improvement with CQC, so this is a great opportunity to turn this service around. Key Responsibilities of a Nursing Home Manager: Overall running of the Nursing home including standards, quality of care, recruitment, and training. Managing budgets. Staff appraisals, meetings and disciplinaries. Liaise with outside Healthcare professionals regarding care. Gaining ‘GOOD’ CQC. Build strong relationship with regional and operations directors. Ensuring company policies are followed and adhered to.Nursing Home Manager Requirements: Registered with CQC. 1+ Years’ experience managing within a Nursing Home setting. NVQ Level 4 or 5 in management. Experience working with the Elderly and Dementia patients. Managing budgets. NMC Active pin Ability to manage teams, improve services, quality, and performance. Staff appraisals, meetings and disciplinaries. Liaise with outside Healthcare professionals regarding care.
