Are you an experienced Nurse Qualified Home Manager ready for your next exciting challenge? Domus Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a reputable 60-70-bed dual registered care home in Sheffield, rated Good by the CQC, as they search for a strong, motivated leader to take the reins and drive continued improvement.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established home with huge potential for growth. With a supportive leadership team and exciting developments ahead — including an S2A (EMI) contract application — you’ll have the autonomy to shape the home’s future, strengthen performance, and make a real difference in residents’ lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire your team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
  • Oversee all aspects of home management, from clinical excellence to financial performance.
  • Drive occupancy and build strong community relationships.
  • Guide and support the Senior Clinical Lead and Deputy Manager in day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and maintain the home’s “Good” rating.
  • Play a key role in managing short-term admissions effectively.
  • Champion best practices in dementia and complex care.
  • What We’re Looking For:

  • Nurse qualified (NMC registered) with proven leadership experience in elderly care.
  • Strong understanding of dementia, complex and challenging needs.
  • Financially astute, with experience managing budgets and staffing.
  • Confident in managing risk and driving service improvements.
  • Flexible, dynamic and passionate about achieving excellence in care.
  • The Package:

  • Salary around ÂŁ65,000 (DOE).
  • 40 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday with flexibility as needed.
  • 6 weeks’ holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Revalidation support and NMC fees paid.
