Domus Recruitment are looking for a Nursing Home Manager based in the Cambridgeshire area to oversee a large nursing care home for the Elderly. You will have full oversight of this home, currently rated as Good with CQC, in driving service improvement and ensuring the staff team are well supported in delivering top quality basic and person centred care to the residents.

Key Responsibilities of a Nursing Home Manager:

  • Managing operations within the home in order to reach or exceed goals.
  • Ensuring the provision of high-quality care.
  • Overseeing the care staff.
  • Lead by example to further develop the reputation of the home.
  • Nursing Home Manager Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Home Manager leading and developing strong teams.
  • Nurse qualified ideally but not essential
  • Excellent understanding of the commercial side of running a successful care facility
  • Passion and drive to always deliver ‘outstanding’ care.
  • Sound knowledge of CQC Regulations and legislation.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills.
  • Strong communication skills and relationship building with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
