Job Description
Domus Recruitment are working in partnership with a highly respected Brain Injury charity who are seeking a Locum Neuropsychiatrist to join their service in York for 6 months.\\n \\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nTo be the lead consultant for neuropsychiatry of brain injury at the hospitals and to be the Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act.\\nTo hold clinical responsibility for patients admitted to the hospital facility within the York area.\\nTo be the lead consultant and undertake regular psychiatric reviews of patients in the service and work with other disciplines to provide a well balanced model of acquired brain injury, rehabilitation and care.\\nTo take the lead in specialist consultant psychiatric advice regarding service provision and delivery to the speciality psychiatry doctor and colleagues within the hospitals. \\nTo take a leadership role in the clinical team. To address performance issues within the team and to liaise with the manager to resolve these where they do not meet national standards or expectations.\\nRequirements:\\n\\nFully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.\\nMB BS or equivalent medical qualification.\\nIn good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice.\\nIncluded on the GMC Specialist Register.\\nApproved clinician status.\\nIf you are interested in the above position please apply, or for more information contact Ella Bryett at Domus Recruitment. \\n\\nAs part of our continual pursuit of quality candidates we appreciate and reward candidate recommendations from you if we successfully secure them a position.
