Domus are working with a fantastic provider of Adult’s and Children’s care and support looking for a Children’s Home Manager in Friesthorpe, Lincolnshire. You will lead a service supporting Children and Young People aged 11-19 years of age with Autism.
Ideally, we are looking for an experienced Children’s Manager registered with Ofsted but would certainly consider highly experienced Deputies looking to step up. This is an opportunity to genuinely make a difference to the lives of vulnerable Children and Young People in a supportive team environment and with a provider that focuses on training and career development to provide clear progression pathways.
Key Responsibilities of a Children’s Home Manager:
- Manage an Ofsted Registered Residential Home and ensure the efficient operation of the service following the relevant legislation, regulations, procedures, policies, and the Statement of Purpose for the home.
- Assist and supervise in the continual assessment of the needs of the children and young people and to identify and prepare specific development plans to ensure the most appropriate service provision.
- Help with the continual strive for quality care in the children’s home.
- Oversee support staff ensuring the home complies with all aspects of the Children’s Act & surpasses National Minimum care standards.
- Conduct staff supervision, appraisals, and safer recruitment of staff.
