A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to join a well-established, family-run elderly care provider. We are seeking a confident care home leader with a strong track record in elderly care to take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of a small to medium-sized service, ensuring high standards of care and supporting the continued development of the home. The service is stable, has excellent staff retention and was rated Good at its most recent CQC inspection.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Manager:

  • Leading, motivating and developing a committed care team
  • Overseeing the delivery of person-centred care with compassion and respect
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC and all relevant legislation
  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, and professionals
  • Managing vacancies, admissions and discharges, home audits and care plans effectively

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Registered Manager within an elderly care setting
  • Proven experience managing and leading a care team
  • Strong understanding of CQC requirements and regulatory compliance
  • Experience in dementia care and a passion for supporting older people
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Adult Care (or working towards it)
