We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead the start up of a domiciliary care service in Dunstable. This is an opportunity to join a growing, carer-first provider and play a key role in shaping the culture, reputation and long-term success of the branch from day one.

Registered Manager Responsibilities:

  • Leading the day-to-day operations of a growing private domiciliary care service, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care.
  • Managing and developing office and care staff, promoting stability, performance and retention.
  • Embedding strong leadership, accountability and a positive branch culture.
  • Meeting with prospective clients and families, conducting assessments and converting enquiries into private care packages.
  • Building relationships within the local community to generate private growth opportunities and increase brand presence.
  • Maintaining high standards of CQC compliance, governance and quality assurance.
  • Supporting the on-call rota and ensuring continuity of care across the service.

Registered Manager Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within domiciliary care or live-in care.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance and governance frameworks.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or working towards).
  • Full UK Driving Licence with access to own vehicle.
