Domus Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with a highly reputable provider who are opening up a brand-new high-end care home in Dartmouth, which will be the first launch within their new luxury subsidiary. You will be responsible for overseeing the successful launch of the new home, ensuring the home delivers a high-end, commercially sustainable service that exceeds CQC legislative requirements & organisational excellence, while providing an exceptional quality of care. Key Responsibilities of a Commissioning Home Manager: Uphold exceptional service delivery standards through a comprehensive assurance framework, ensuring that the highest levels of residential care are consistently maintained throughout the quality assurance cycle. Ensure that the care home adheres to all relevant legislation and registration requirements by establishing and maintaining rigorous monitoring procedures, while remaining informed of significant developments and legislative changes within the sector. Ensure the effective implementation and ongoing embedding of policies, procedures and standards across all operations at the Care home. Liaise with the Talent and Acquisition team to develop and implement a robust recruitment plan to attract and hire staff with the appropriate skill sets and qualities that align with the values and culture of Vivant Care. To oversee the performance and development of staff to ensure a skilled work force is always available to meet the needs and expectations of our residents, while ensuring compliance with all HR and learning and development policies. Organise and schedule training sessions to accommodate the staggered recruitment for staff, ensuring that each new hire receives training promptly upon starting. Monitor attendance and engagement to ensure that all staff understand their responsibilities post training and can effectively apply their knowledge in practice.Commissioning Home Manager Requirements: NVQ Level 4 in Management of Care or Higher Current, full driving license Proven experience of undertaking a similar commissioning role. Proven ability in budget preparation & control. Applied knowledge of commissioning processes and standards.
