Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that quality standards are always maintained and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that all audits are carried out as specified and actions addressed in a timely manner.
  • Practise maximum integrity in all dealings with service users’ personal and financial affairs to build and maintain trust.
  • Effectively manage Care Centre Staff through coaching, mentorship and development to inspire, motivate and lead the team, dealing effectively with performance issues when they arise.
  • Maintain staff supervisions.
  • Assess and maintain the correct number of Staff for the Care Centre at any given time through robust rostering and maintenance.
  • Recruit appropriate Staff where necessary.
  • Be ‘on-call’ for emergencies, which may arise within the Care Centre, and cover shifts if all other avenues have been exhausted.
  • Review dependency scoring on a minimum monthly basis.
  • Monitor staff skill mix and ratio on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain control of the budgetary spend within the Care Centre through regular monitoring.
  • Effectively manage relationships with service users, their families, and people within the local community and with professional colleagues.

Requirements

Essential: Exceptional Knowledge in the Elderly Healthcare Sector. Demonstrated ability to manage teams, deliver improvements, and sustain compliance. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Quality focus mindset with a hands-on approach. Proven experience in leading CQC Inspection resulting in ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’.

Desirable: Passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred care. RMA/NVQ 5 or equivalent – completed or enrolled. Worked within a Luxury care provider. Hospitality background.
