Domus Recruitment are working with an established care provider who are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead one of their nursing homes in the East London/Essex area. This is a good opportunity to join a growing organisation and take responsibility for an established service providing nursing and residential care. You’ll have support from a wider senior management and quality team, whilst having the autonomy to lead the home day to day. We’re looking for someone who is a strong people manager, commercially aware and confident around quality and compliance, with a genuine focus on delivering good outcomes for residents. Key responsibilities will include: • Overall leadership and day-to-day management of the home • Maintaining high standards of care, quality and compliance • Leading, developing and retaining a strong staff team • Ensuring the service remains fully compliant with CQC requirements • Driving continuous improvement across the home • Managing budgets, staffing levels and overall home performance • Monitoring occupancy and supporting the continued commercial development of the service The successful candidate will need: • Previous experience managing an elderly care/nursing home • Ideally a current and valid nursing pin (RGN/RMN) • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance • A proven track record of maintaining or improving care standards • Strong leadership and people management skills • Good commercial awareness and understanding of budgets and occupancy • Experience managing and developing multidisciplinary teams • Excellent communication skills with residents, families and external stakeholders • A proactive, hands-on approach to running a service This would suit an experienced Registered Manager, Home Manager or experienced Deputy Manager ready to take on full responsibility for a nursing service.
