Are you an experienced and motivated Care Manager or Senior Coordinator ready to step into a supportive leadership role? This is a brilliant opportunity to join an established domiciliary care provider in Blackburn, working closely alongside the Registered Manager to help deliver and grow a high-performing service currently delivering 1,600 hours per week.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage staff and service operations effectively, and has a strong understanding of compliance and working with the local authority. If you’re confident, organised, and passionate about excellent care, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of a domiciliary care service
• Provide leadership and guidance to care staff and coordinators, ensuring efficient rota planning and staff supervision
• Assist with compliance duties, including audits, spot checks, and service reviews
• Contribute to maintaining and developing care packages through collaboration with local authorities and commissioners
• Carry out care assessments, reviews, and implement person-centred care plans
• Participate in the on-call rota (1 in every 6 weeks), with paid on-call cover and enhanced weekend rates
• Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and person-centred care across the service
Requirements:
• Experience in a senior care, coordination, or supervisory role within domiciliary care
• Strong understanding of rota systems, care planning, and service delivery standards
• Familiarity with local authority frameworks and the operational requirements of CQC compliance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards it)
