Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full night operation of the hotel, ensuring guest safety, security, and exceptional service standards.
  • Act as the senior leader on duty, handling any overnight issues or emergencies.
  • Lead, support, and coach the Night Team, ensuring clear communication and smooth operations throughout the night.
  • Handle all guest enquiries, complaints, and VIP arrivals with confidence and professionalism.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of Night Audit processes and daily reporting.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel services, room availability, and pricing to maximise overnight revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct regular night walks, Health & Safety checks, and uphold all emergency and security procedures.
  • Support cross-departmental needs, including coordination with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Food & Beverage as required.
  • Drive quality scores, guest satisfaction, and brand standards through consistent leadership and operational excellence.

  • Proficient with PMS systems (PEP/ONQ experience desirable).

  • Proven experience in a similar role and strong leadership skills with experience of developing and leading a team.
  • Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of the hotel overnight.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, great at managing one’s own time and the time of the team.
  • Warm, approachable, and professional, with a natural ability to reassure guests and colleagues.
