About the Role
As a Lobby Host, you will be one of the first and last people our guests meet, creating memorable first impressions and delivering exceptional service throughout their stay. Supporting the Head Concierge and working closely with the Front Office team, you will welcome guests on arrival, assist with luggage, escort guests to their rooms, and provide recommendations to help them make the most of their visit. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Concierge function while delivering a warm, personalised and seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm and professional approach, creating a memorable arrival and departure experience.
- Support the Head Concierge in the day-to-day operation of the Concierge function, ensuring exceptional service is delivered at every stage of the guest journey.
- Assist guests with luggage, room escorts and general enquiries throughout their stay.
- Provide recommendations on hotel facilities, local attractions, restaurants and transport to enhance the guest experience.
- Work closely with the Reception team to support Front Office operations during busy periods.
- Deliver guest luggage, amenities and other items promptly and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming lobby and luggage storage area.
- Promote hotel facilities, services and room upgrades where appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, brand standards, health & safety procedures and security requirements.

About You
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role within hospitality, retail or a service environment is advantageous.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Friendly, professional and confident, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of London or an enthusiasm to learn about the local area and provide recommendations to guests.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider Front Office team.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
