About The Role:

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering memorable dining experiences across our restaurant, bar and coffee house. You will welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, confidently guide them through our food and beverage offering, and ensure every interaction reflects the personality and standards of Curio Collection by Hilton and The Derby.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver warm, engaging and personalised service throughout the guest journey, from welcome to farewell.
  • Manage your section effectively during service, ensuring accurate order taking and timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Build strong product knowledge to confidently recommend menu items, promote seasonal offers, and maximise guest satisfaction.
  • Support colleagues across all F&B outlets as required, contributing to a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organisation and presentation standards across all working areas.
  • Handle payments accurately in line with hotel procedures and maintain accountability for cash and billing processes.
  • Proactively upsell menu items, beverages and experiences to support departmental revenue targets.
  • Follow all brand, licensing, health & safety and food safety standards at all times.

About You:

  • Previous experience of at least one year in a breakfast service role within a restaurant, café, or hotel environment is preferred.

  • Able to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A strong team player with a proactive, positive attitude.
  • Able to work on different shifts.
