Role Overview
As an Instore Team Member, you will be the friendly face welcoming customers, preparing delicious pizzas, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store. This role requires enthusiasm, a team-oriented mindset, and a keen eye for quality and detail. Whether you’re taking orders, assisting with food preparation, or maintaining a clean and safe environment, your contribution will be essential to creating memorable customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately, either in person or via phone.
- Prepare and assemble pizzas and other menu items following company recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food hygiene and safety standards are strictly adhered to at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the instore environment, including kitchen, counters, and dining areas.
- Operate point of sale (POS) systems efficiently and handle card payments responsibly.
- Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and inventory management to minimise waste.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily targets and ensure excellent customer service.
- Support training and development initiatives to continuously improve skills and service quality.
- Respond promptly and positively to customer feedback and resolve any issues professionally.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or retail environments is preferred but not essential.
- A friendly, positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team spirit and willingness to support colleagues.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Basic numeracy and IT skills, especially using POS systems.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
