Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled 7.5T HGV/Truck Driver to join our team in Warrington.
Responsibilities
- Carry out daily vehicle checks in line with company procedures before leaving the site to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
- Verify that the load is safe, secure and matches the delivery paperwork.
- Perform multi‑drop deliveries, meeting daily targets in a team environment.
- Maintain good working relationships with customers, colleagues and managers.
- Work a rolling three‑week rota covering four 12‑hour shifts over seven days, with start times between 12:00–15:00AM or 15:00–17:00PM.
Qualifications
- Current full licence relevant to the Class 2 role.
- At least one year of recent driving experience with no more than six penalty points.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and Food Safety Standards.
- Experience in the chilled food industry, including standards and equipment for heavy goods.
- Strong customer‑service and teamwork skills.
