Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled 7.5T HGV/Truck Driver to join our team in Warrington, Greater Manchester. Salary: £26,973 per year (estimated).
Schedule
Rolling 3‑week rota covering 4 shifts over 7 days, 12‑hour shifts. Start times: 12am‑3am or 3pm‑5pm. You will choose either AM or PM shifts – not both.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily vehicle checks in line with company procedures to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Verify load against delivery paperwork and secure cargo.
- Adhere to health and safety legislation and food safety standards.
- Execute multi‑drop deliveries on chilled food routes.
- Maintain good relationships with customers, colleagues, and managers.
- Work within a team to achieve daily targets.
Qualifications
- Full Class 2 HGV licence.
- Minimum 1 year of current driving experience.
- No more than 6 points on your licence.
- Experience with multi‑drop delivery and chilled food or heavy goods is preferred.
- Good geographical knowledge of UK roads.
