Responsibilities
- Make all pizza bases to the desired standard from dough, toppings and the end product.
- Follow HTA standards and monitor load times, ensuring every order is in the oven in under 3 minutes.
- Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and always follow the uniform and grooming standards.
- Hold a Level 2 (or higher) Food Hygiene certificate (this will be completed as part of your training).
- Observe health and safety rules and adhere to safety and security restrictions as required.
- Contribute to the work of others during periods when your area of specialism is slow and display a spirit of cooperation.
- Contribute to the store\’s operation in all aspects, including activities such as distributing leaflets or attending fresher\’s fairs as part of local store marketing.
- Take responsibility for your own development and training.
- Carry out other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business.
- Other tasks may include folding boxes, cleaning, stocking the drink\’s fridge, and answering phones to take customer orders.
- Such duties from time to time may be amended by the Company and you may be required to undertake other duties as necessary to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Able to work quickly and hustle positively during busy periods.
- Able to learn and understand the pizza codes to produce the correct products.
- Must be knowledgeable on food safety and how it can affect the business.
- Previous experience is a plus.
Working conditions
- Job Types: Full-time & Part-time
- This role involves long periods of standing and other physical demands such as lifting, carrying and reaching.
- Work conditions can include extreme temperatures during the winter and summer (oven heat and walk-in fridge) and may involve outdoor activities such as refuse disposal, deliveries and cleaning windows.
- May be required to answer phones to take customer orders.
