Domino\’s is currently looking to recruit full-time Shift Managers/Manager in Trainee in Domino\’s Bromsgrove and Redditch. The Shift Manager role is a fast-paced, hands-on, career progression programme that helps you gain quick, valuable, and effective knowledge to lead you towards becoming a Domino\’s Manager in 12-18 months. If you can manage quality, speed, and people, you will be able to produce great results.

  1. Set and implement standard operating procedures and service standards of the store.
  2. Manage pre-assigned staff for both front and back of house to ensure brand standards are achieved.
  3. Manage, motivate, recruit, train, and develop staff according to company policies and employment laws. Responsible for HR management, including disciplinary procedures, grievances, and staff appraisals.
  4. Manage labour costs, overheads, plan, forecast, and set budgets and sales targets, and monitor business performance.
  5. Manage cash and payment systems in accordance with company policies, prioritizing staff and customer safety.
  6. Maintain the effectiveness of IT and in-store systems, ensuring data security and confidentiality.
  7. Implement marketing strategies and activities as directed by the Store & Area Manager.
  8. Plan and implement shop merchandising, layout, and customer traffic flow to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
  9. Manage stock levels, food deliveries, and inventory records accurately.
  10. Oversee health & safety, security, and emergency systems, ensuring staff and customer awareness.
  11. Hold weekly review meetings to assess targets, sales, wages, and food spend.
  12. Develop personal skills through ongoing training provided by the company.
  13. Must have experience in a similar role in a fast-paced, high-volume retail food service environment at manager/assistant manager level.
  14. Demonstrate supervisory and leadership qualities.
  15. Have the desire to progress to an Area Manager role.
