Join Our Team at Domino’s as a Transport Shift Manager (Nights)! Are you wanting to make a difference in the world of food? If so, we need you! Our Transport Manager Darren and his team are on the lookout for their next Transport Shift Manager for Nights, this will be based in Milton Keynes.
Your role involves leading, motivating and developing our operational team to ensure they meet legislative obligations as well as maintaining adequate staffing levels, managing absences and authorising overtime with justification. You’ll manage the D365 system within transport so you can ensure that all purchase requests are processed in a timely manner and purchase orders are placed appropriately. In addition, you will initiate investigations into the root causes of vehicle and personal accidents, interview staff to determine responsibility, take actions based on your findings and submit reports to the Transport Manager and Health and Safety Manager.
Knowledge & Skills- Ensure that all Drivers are compliant with EU and working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are investigated in a timely manner.
- Ensure Operational compliance is met at all times by seeing through servicing plans and managing defect control compliance.
- Lead your team to meeting and exceeding operational objectives, such as service provision, productivity and fuel KPIs.
- Promoting a culture of safety within the team, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and investigating any incidents.
- A track record at a supervisory or management level within a complex, fast-paced transport operation.
- Excellent knowledge of driving compliance and associated regulations.
- Experience of hygiene procedures, standards and equipment in the chilled food industry.
- Ideally management CPC Licence holder.
