Duties/Responsibilities:
- Set and implement standard operating procedures and service standards of the store.
- Manage pre-assigned staff for both front and back of house to ensure brand standards are met.
- Manage, motivate, recruit, train, and develop staff according to company policies and employment laws.
- Oversee card payment systems, ensuring safety and adherence to procedures at all times.
- Maintain the effectiveness of IT and other in-store systems, ensuring data security and confidentiality.
- Manage stock levels, ensure accurate food and beverage inventory, and oversee deliveries and storage.
- Handle health & safety, security, and emergency systems in accordance with policies and laws.
- Develop personal skills through ongoing training provided by the company or approved providers.
Our ideal Shift Manager will:
- Have experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, high-volume retail food service environment at manager/assistant manager level.
- Have the desire to progress to an Area Manager role.
