About The Role

We are looking for a part‑time HR Advisor based in Cambridge to act as the first point of contact for all HR‑related matters.

You will provide proactive, professional support to managers and employees, ensuring a positive workplace culture and consistent application of policies.

This role is 25 hours per week.

We offer flexibility around how these hours are worked, and the working pattern can be agreed with the successful candidate to support business needs and work‑life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong partnerships with people managers, providing coaching, guidance, and practical HR support.
  • Offer expert advice on employment law, employee relations, and help managers make informed, consistent decisions.
  • Analyse and interpret people data, including engagement results, to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle: attraction, recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding, ensuring a professional experience.
  • Collaborate with the wider UK and Global HR team to deliver key people initiatives, projects, and business priorities.

About You

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and confident in providing practical, commercially focused HR advice.
  • Proven generalist HR experience across the employee lifecycle.
  • Ability to build credible relationships and positively influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and discretion, modelling our values and behaviours.
  • Experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing or operational environment is desirable.
  • Holds a CIPD Level 5 qualification or is currently working towards it, or has equivalent experience.
