About The Role
Location: Bar Hill, Cambridgeshire (Hybrid – regular on-site presence required)

We’re looking for a Logistics Network Officer to join our Group Logistics team — a hands-on professional with strong operational experience, capable of managing logistics partners and driving performance improvements across our network.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of day-to-day logistics operations, managing and resolving escalations and service issues both remotely and on-site, ensuring a smooth and customer-focused delivery experience.
- Oversee the performance of third-party warehouses and distribution centres across Europe, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and continuous performance improvement.
- Manage and monitor freight forwarder and carrier performance, addressing issues proactively and identifying opportunities for cost, service, and sustainability improvements.
- Lead and support logistics projects that enhance network efficiency, improve service quality, and drive sustainability initiatives.
- Play a key role in implementing, monitoring, and analysing logistics KPIs — including delivery performance, freight spend, and warehouse efficiency — fostering accountability and performance excellence across the network.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth coordination, effective communication, and alignment of logistics priorities with business needs.
About You
- Proven, hands-on experience in logistics operations, with direct exposure to managing freight forwarders, warehouses, and carriers.
- A solid understanding of project management principles, and the ability to deliver improvement initiatives effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Confidence in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and functions.
- Excellent organisational skills, capable of balancing multiple projects and operational priorities.
- A passion for efficiency, performance, and sustainability within logistics and supply chain operations.
