About The Role

As a Principal Engineer at Domino, you will take responsibility for the development and successful delivery of Hardware Service Enablers in alignment with our product roadmap.

You will drive and oversee the activities and processes involved in the development of all Domino hardware service enablers in accordance with the company’s business and engineering framework.

To be successful in this role, you will work collaboratively with other R&D teams and wider business functions to achieve agreed business goals.

About The Role

As a Principal Engineer at Domino, you will take responsibility for the development and successful delivery of Hardware Service Enablers in alignment with our product roadmap.

You will drive and oversee the activities and processes involved in the development of all Domino hardware service enablers in accordance with the company’s business and engineering framework.

To be successful in this role, you will work collaboratively with other R&D teams and wider business functions to achieve agreed business goals.

You will be integral to the product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive all aspects of product development to enable the successful delivery of hardware enablers to support the product roadmap.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to project team members to ensure successful project execution.
  • Work collaboratively with other R&D Leaders, Product Management and Program Management to ensure strong alignment on objectives and priorities and product delivery plans.
  • Ensure technical risks are identified, shared, mitigated, and escalated as necessary.
  • Work with peers across R&D to ensure individuals and teams continually develop their technical skills and experience to keep growing R&D capabilities.
  • Ensure sufficient technical governance is in place around new technology and product development.
  • Evolve the right processes, tools, and approach to enable successful cross functional product delivery.
  • Identify the gaps in the requirements, specifications, and knowledge around hardware enablers and instigate actions to close those gaps.
  • Ensure that the knowledge gained to develop robust solutions is captured in a clear and accessible format.
