Head of Global Sector Solutions in Scotland

As Head of Sector Solutions you will be accountable for shaping how we deliver and scale sector solutions that address the most important challenges and opportunities within our chosen sectors. Sitting at the intersection of customer insight, technology, commercial strategy, and organisational collaboration, you will act as the focal point that connects sector strategy, customer needs and technical capability. You will ensure that opportunities are translated into scalable solutions that are 'designed once and deployed many times'. Success in this role will be determined not only by the Sector Solutions delivered, but by your ability to network, establish trusted relationships and create alignment across teams that do not sit within your direct control.

This role offers flexibility and can be worked either full-time or on a part-time basis, with a minimum commitment of four days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a portfolio of sector-led solutions that support our growth ambitions.
• Create an environment where Solutions Engineering excellence, customer/sector understanding and commercial thinking are combined to solve complex problems.
• Engage with customers, influence stakeholders across the business, lead engineers and facilitate collaboration across functions and business units.
• Ensure people align around common goals, resolve competing priorities and maintain focus on delivering value for customers.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation and create shared ownership of outcomes relating to solutions via a Solutions Community.
• Continually look for ways to improve how Sector Solutions are developed, scaled and supported, helping to build organisational capability and accelerate innovation.

About you

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams within a technical environment, with a passion for developing people and creating inclusive, high-performing teams.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities, navigate ambiguity and turn ideas into commercially successful solutions.
• Experience successfully delivering customer-focused solutions within technology-led or industrial environments.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across multiple functions, geographies and organisational levels.
• A track record of delivering outcomes through influence rather than direct authority.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery.
